As I walk into the gallery, I see wall size painting hanging there grabbing my attention with it's cartoon like style. It made me curious to find out more about why they are there because they feel a little different than the other contemperory paintings I have seen that day, because this feels a little bit like pop art to me. When I look around on the website later on to find more information, I didn't seem to find much, but I found a picture of where one of the paint came from: http://sobad1.tribe.net/photos/7738277b-e456-46eb-b40c-048c64e9f48c
We are a group of Art students from the University of California Riverside who are attending a series of Art Galleries in several parts of Southern California. We have decided to use Blogger.com to post the pictures we take, and record our thoughts and opinions about the work we visit. You can find our critiques and thoughts on the work in the "comments" field, which appears below the pictures of the art.
