Culver City: Susanne Vielmetter L.A. Projects

Nicole Eisenman A Show Born Of Fear
http://vielmetter.com/

This show was really interesting to go to simply because I got to see the differences between an artist and their works, in other words a sort of evolution of artistry. Eisenman's works are both disturbing and wonderfull. She knows how to set the mood to freak the viewer while allowing them to be okay with the notion. I really want to say that I found the work to be a bit disturbing, but that did not stop me from looking around even more. To me a few of Eisenmans works seem to reflect so much sexulity and ironism, which kind of is a reflection of our deep, dark illusions. I actually found myself entrapts by so many possibities in regards to they way she creates such caos to her work.

The artist used many colors in the artworks, however, the characters inside her works all have a distance look in their eyes, made the works filled with mysterious atmosphere.
