I though that this was probably the most interesting place of our visit to Orange County. I have always been one to enjoy old photographs which some I recognized as famous! The OMC gallery in Huntington Beach was located in a very unusual yet fascinating area that was representational of a German Village. It was very quiet and peaceful, (probably because we missed October Fest!), and it really gave the photos a tranquil feel to them.

the surrounding, the photographs, all made me feel like I am part old and foreign world. Inside the gallery we see many amazing photographs from many amazing photographers, teaching us one of the most important aspect of taking a picture is to capture the moment.
With the collector's point of view on art and how to collect art made me learn more new things, collect art doesn't need a lot of money, one just need to know what they are doing.

The photography at OMC Gallery showed the collection of Rolf Goellnitz. I appreciate photography from a documentary standpoint; therefore I found a lot of the images really interesting. There’s something very special in capturing a moment that cannot be recreated. I especially liked the photograph of Sophia Lauren and some other actress. Lauren is caught starring with disapproval at the other actresses huge breasts totally hanging out of her dress. It was also interesting to hear Goellnitz discuss collecting. I don’t know how practical it is, but he explained how it’s possible to start collecting when you’re young.
